"Agricamp Picobello" is situated in a region that offers excellent opportunities for activities like hiking or cycling. The villages and little towns nearby are all worth a visit; you'll find culture everywhere! And for those who love to spend a day on the beach there is the Adriatic Sea; only a half hour's drive away from us!
National Park

The nearby National Park "Monti Sibillini" is a beautiful world of hills, mountains and trails. Here you'll find many short hikes or longer treks. For those who have less experience in mountainwalking we offer tours guided by our own outdoor company "2-Go-Outdoor". Right in the heart of "Monti Sibillini" is the "Piano Grande" a plain that explodes with thousands of poppies in spring. This is the place to be for paragliders and hanggliders. The highest peak "Monte Vettore" is accessible from here. There are many other day hikes only a short distance from "Agricamp Picobello."
We'll be pleased to give you some suggestions. And what about cycling and mountainbiking? Start from here and make a 20-kilometer tour via Monte Rinaldo, San Elpidio and Montelparo. Or, first take the car to Val d'Aso, then cycle to the Adriatic Coast along well-paved roads. You should be in a good condition and have a suitable bike.
Places to visit
A few kilometers away are the ancient excavations of Monte Rinaldo.The beautiful little villages of Ortezzano, Petritoli, Montalto and Offida are so close you won't want to miss them. The ancient town centres take you back in time to another era. And than there is Ascoli Piceno, the most important city in the south of Le Marche. Its square, "Piazza del Popolo", is one of the most beautiful in Italy. On one side stands the "Palazzo del Popolo", an impressive building from the 13th century and on the opposite side there is the Gothic church of "San Francesco".
Sea
The small coastal town of Pedaso is half an hour away. It has a beach where you can spend a nice day under a wide beach umbrella and swim in the clear waters of the Adriatic. Enjoy your lunch here in one of the Italian restaurants. Near the beach you will find a boulevard with beautiful flowering oleander. Take a rest here in the shade of a palm tree or buy yourself an ice cream in a real Italian "gelateria".
