The week is almost over and you want to go away for the weekend. Stay somewhere else, go for a walk and enjoy a good meal. Such a weekend does good, it is like a mini-vacation and Agricamp Picobello offers it:
During the months of April and May 2012 and in the period of September till half October in the same year Agricamp Picobello organizes a surprising weekend. We welcome you on friday evening with a drink and after that there is time to unpack and have a little rest. Pizza will be served here at Agricamp Picobello and there is time enough to get to know eachother while drinking a glass of good wine.
The next day begins with a nice breakfast and we give you some suggestions on how to spend the day. Ascoli Piceno, a beautiful old town and only 45 minutes away is a must see! Stroll through the narrow streets, admire the "Piazza del Popolo", visit the old Cathedral and have a coffee at Meletti's! Hmmm.....this is like vacation. In the afternoon there is the fortress at Civitella del Tronto, also worth paying a visit. Don't worry about where to eat that evening. We made a reservation for you at a Agriturismo where they serve you local and traditional food. Very tasteful and a perfect end of the day. Want to drink another glas of wine? Just do it because we take care of the transport this night.
The second day Rob guides you on a walk in the National Park Monti Sibillini. Just tell us your wishes and the day will be customized just the way you like it. Or do you prefer to go on your own? No problem; we give you a detailed map and give you some suggestions about where to go. Put on your tramping boots, bring some warm clothings and rainwear (gloves and a hat can be nessecary) and of you go! The day is yours! Being in the outdoors all day is the best preparation for a fantastic diner in one of the restaurants not far from Agricamp Picobello. Again, we will bring you there and pick you up later.
Depending on your flight schedule there is probably time to visit Loreto the next on your way to Ancona. This is one Europe's most importan places of pilgrimage and the enormous basillica is very impressive. After Loreto it is only a short drive to the airport from where you fly home.
